On November 23rd 2017 Omco Croatia d.o.o. started with installation of the solar panel system for own purposes. It is planned and had been installed a solar panel system with 1000kW of installed power on the AC side. Solar panel system contains 4530 photovoltaic panels with nominal power of 270W. With project implementation there will be a reduction of the grid consumption and usage of the energy from the conventional power plants as part of energy balance will be covered by renewable sources.

As a part of the project "Introducing energy-efficient solutions to production processes of company Omco Croatia d.o.o." in the production hall 200 and 300 in company Omco Croatia d.o.o. there was a replacement of old lighting fixtures with mercury and metal halogens with energy-efficient LED lighting fixtures. With this project the company continues to invest in energy efficiency in order to increase its energy efficiency with the aim of reducing electricity consumption. The results of the project are reduced consumption of electricity and improved workplace lighting, thus providing better preconditions when working with requirements for greater precision.
